Project Management Plateway has an extensive project management capability ranging from the provision of technical and supervisory staff to total packages for the management of railway infrastructure construction, maintenance and renewals. Diverse works managed have included track construction and maintenance, signalling installation, passenger platform construction and bridge construction.
We support this effort with our in-house project control systems (which are compliant with AS4292 Railway Safety Management Systems), scheduling tools, estimating capability and in depth knowledge of achievable productivity in the operating rail environment.
Tendering and estimating
Plateway has extensive experience in preparing project cost estimates and tenders together with access to current industry productivity and project cost paradigms. This ensures clients receive independent and unbiased cost estimates.
Contract Management Plateway’s contract management experience covers a wide variety of contracting forms. We can tailor-make solutions to contracts ranging from Alliance contracts to hard dollar contracting using the General Conditions published by Standards Australia or custom designed formats.
